On this site you'll find great information about growing taller nutritions and diets!
First we’ll start with vitamins. These are organic materials that help the body grow and develop. You might be too old for a Flintstones chewable, but you will never be too old for a vitamin supplement, even if you are eating well. Speaking of eating well, make sure that you are eating fresh produce whenever possible. You can gain most of your vitamins through having a well rounded diet plan, but fresh means more in the case of vitamins, so think that way.
Minerals- particularly calcium, are important to bone growth and strength, however they are used for repairing and fueling every part of the body. Think of minerals as bricks, if you want to build a taller house you will need more bricks! Be mindful of these in you growing taller diet.
The next item on our growing taller diet list is protein. Our bodies use protein to grow muscle mass and just about everything else that the body needs to function. Proteins can be found in your diet, no matter how strict your requirements are. Even vegans acknowledge the need for protein and go to great lengths to make sure they are taking in enough of it. For we meat eaters, it’s a little easier, fish is probably one of the healthier meats and is loaded with protein, ask any bear.
Lower your carbohydrates as much as you can. As odd as it might sound, carbs can stunt your growth or at the very least negate the hard work you’ve put into the rest of your growing taller diet. Carbohydrates also have the added effect of hitting your bloodstream before anything else does and raising your insulin level. This will raise your metabolism and your body will use all the nutrients you put into it for growth in an effort to maintain a higher energy level. In other words; you’re throwing away your growth material. Keep a low carb diet if at all possible.
Fats are essential to your grow taller diet plan as well. Unsaturated fats are preferred over their saturated cousins. Saturated fat can cause weight gain and clog arteries. Being taller would be nice, staying alive long enough to enjoy it is even nicer. So stick with unsaturated fats whenever possible and monitor even these. You body still needs some fats, but not a lot.
Water is the final element of your grow taller diet. A dehydrated body cannot transport all the nutrients your will need to grow taller as efficiently as a hydrated one can. Nor can it carry away all the oxidants you want to be shed of. Drink as much water as you can. Not liquid stuff or stuff made from water, but water.
Keep in mind that this is just an overview, your true grow taller diet should be a lot more detailed and possibly even involve a nuitrionist or some form of guidance. There are plenty of resources out there, just remember to keep everything balanced and eat well!
